Expert Furnace Repair in Greater Sacramento

When your furnace stops working in Rancho Cordova, you need a clear diagnosis and a real fix, not a guessing game. At Air-Craft Heating and Air, we repair gas furnaces across the city, from older mid-century homes in Cordova Lane and Cordova Gardens to newer builds in Anatolia. Rancho Cordova winters bring cool mornings and overnight lows that drop into the 30s. A furnace that short-cycles, blows cold air, or makes unusual noises puts your household comfort at risk. Our technicians inspect the heat exchanger, flame sensor, igniter, blower motor, and thermostat connection on every visit. We tell you exactly what failed, why it failed, and what it will take to fix it. Many homes in Rancho Cordova were built between the 1960s and 1980s, meaning aging heating systems are common throughout the area. Whether your furnace needs a minor component swap or a more involved repair, Air-Craft Heating and Air gives you straight answers so you can make a confident decision. Call us to schedule your furnace repair in Rancho Cordova today.

Furnace Repair FAQ

Common questions about furnace repair in Greater Sacramento.

A furnace under 10 years old with a documented service history is usually a strong repair candidate. If your Rancho Cordova home has a furnace that is 15 to 20 years old and needs a major component like a heat exchanger, replacement often makes more financial sense.

Short-cycling, cold air from vents, unusual banging or rattling sounds, and a yellow pilot light are all signs your furnace needs attention. Rancho Cordova homeowners often notice these issues first on cold mornings when the system is working hardest.

Yes, short-cycling puts extra wear on the blower motor and heat exchanger and signals an underlying issue that needs repair. Left unaddressed in a Rancho Cordova home, it typically leads to a larger and more costly failure.

Yes, our technicians service all major furnace makes and models found in Rancho Cordova homes. We carry common replacement parts to complete most repairs in a single visit.

A yellow or orange flame instead of a steady blue one can indicate incomplete combustion, which may produce carbon monoxide. Rancho Cordova homeowners should turn off the furnace and call Air-Craft Heating and Air for an inspection right away.

Yes, an adult homeowner or authorized representative needs to be present so our technician can access the system and walk you through the findings. This also lets us answer your questions about the repair on the spot.

This company is the best!! My A/C wasn't working and I called out one of the "Big Guys" who stated that my system was beyond repair and That I would need to replace it. I was quoted $14k ! I decided to get a second opinion and called AriCraft. Joel arrived on time and starting preforming all the checks. Told me I has a few parts that need to be replaced and the system was low on charge. He replaced the parts, Did a cleaning and charged the system for us. The system is working better than it has since I purchased my home and my dog loves the cool air coming in from the vents !! This will be my go to company for life!!

Called and they had a technician out the same day to service the HVAC system they installed for us a few years ago. Their staff are all professional, hard working and honest. If you need any work related to air conditioning and heating systems, Air-Craft Heating and Air are the best around.

I highly recommend Air-Craft Heating and Air for your residential or commercial HVAC needs. I manage a large portfolio of rentals and remodels in the Sacramento area, and these guys are excellent. They are always responsive, take care of everything correctly the first time, and their prices are very competitive. If you want quality and someone you can trust, call these guys.
